Computer Programming

Supplies Required: Laptop

Class Length: 32 weeks (2 semesters)

Description:   In this class we will learn the basics of programming using Python. We will learn the fundamental logic that is required to develop more complex programs, along with basic syntax and programming methods.

      Throughout the semester, students will be assigned to complete exercises that will encourage creative thinking and help students retain the material covered in class. Halfway through the semester, there will be a final project students will choose with the teacher's discretion. They will work to complete this project for the second half of the semester. This will allow them to directly apply what they have learned to a project that they have an interest in.
